Owen Coyle chose to leave Jamshedpur FC despite having a great season there last year. As a result, Jamshedpur FC hired former England footballer Aidy Boothroyd to replace their League Shield-winning coach. The 51-year-old coach has extensive experience and expertise at the highest level, leading English clubs such as Watford, Colchester United, Northampton Town and Coventry City.

After three successful seasons with Watford, he was regarded as one of England’s best young managers. As well as managing these clubs, Boothroyd was responsible for the growth of young English footballers who went on to play for England in the FIFA World Cup 2018 squad and UEFA Euro 2020.
