Here we show you the football clubs owned by City Football Group

Manchester City is one of the richest football clubs in the world, since it is owned by two of the richest sports club owners – Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Khaldoon Al Mubarak.

To be specific, Man City is owned by City Football Group, which also owns 11 other football clubs around the world. And after buying the Italian club Palermo, they own a club on almost every continent in the world:

  1. Manchester City – England
  2. New York City – USA
  3. Melbourne City – Oceania
  4. Montevideo City Torque – Uruguay
  5. Girona – Spain
  6. Yokahoma F. Marinos – Japan
  7. ESTAC Troyes – France
  8. Bolivar FC – Senegal
  9. Lommel SK – Belgium
  10. Mumbai City – India
  11. Sichuan Jiuniu – China
  12. Palermo – Italy

Out of all the clubs mentioned above, Man City has the most valuable squad worth more than a billion euros. They were the richest football club in Europe before the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund’s takeover of Newcastle United.

Man City won the Premier League title 2021/22, which was Pep Guardiola’s fourth PL title in his managerial career. Unfortunately, they did not manage to win the prestigious UEFA Champions League trophy last season due to Real Madrid’s incredible comeback in the semi-finals.

City have recently signed three new players and will announce them at a presentation event on Sunday 10 July. Let us tell you that Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland and Stefan Ortega are the last three items in the squad.

Man City fans are eagerly awaiting the presentation, not to mention the unveiling of Erling Haaland as a City player. He is one of the best strikers in the world at the moment and the second most valuable player after his rival Kylian Mbappe.
