FIFA World Cup Rules: FIFA World Cup Rules – In a decision that has drawn criticism from around the world, Qatar’s government issued dress guidelines for fans visiting the Middle Eastern country for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. FIFA World Cup Rules: Qatar Govt Issues STRICT Guidelines For Visiting Fans, Bans Revealing Clothing Apart From Alcohol, Sexual Activity – Check Out

“Attitudes towards dress in Qatar are relaxed, but visitors (men as well as women) are expected to show respect for local culture by avoiding overly revealing clothing in public. It is generally recommended for men and women to ensure that their shoulders and knees are covered,” read a statement issued by Qatar Tourism on its website.

Spectators have been urged to respect Qatar’s legal and cultural norms, including its restrictions on drinking, drugs, sexual activity and dress. When it comes to clothing in particular, travelers may want to reconsider their choices in light of the restrictions imposed by Qatar.

The football extravaganza begins on November 20 and runs until December 18. In the first match, the Ecuadorian team will clash with the host team, Qatar.

The 32 countries qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup are Qatar (hosts), Argentina, Brazil, England, France, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Uruguay, Croatia, Denmark, Mexico, USA, Senegal, Wales, Poland, Australia, Japan, Morocco, Switzerland, Ghana, Republic of Korea, Cameroon, Serbia, Canada, Costa Rica, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Ecuador.

The 2022 World Cup will be held in 8 different stadiums in the Middle Eastern nation of Qatar: Lusail Iconic Stadium, Al Bayt Stadium, Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, Stadium 974, Al Thumama Stadium, Education City Stadium, Al Wakrah Sports Complex.
