FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony – BTS FIFA World CUP – Are They Performing? The rumor mills are swirling around the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony. A new version of the BTS song ‘Yet To Come’ was also released on September 23 as part of the same promotion. In a press release earlier it was announced that the band would be part of the campaign says.

Through the World Cup campaign with BTS, we hope to create an opportunity for people over the whole world can unite towards one goal of sustainability and cheer each other up.”

BTS could become the first K-Pop group to perform at a world championship after representing the country at the Tokyo Olympics last year. The band involves 7 members including Suga and Rap Monster and debuted back in 2015. Nothing is official yet as the band prepares for Expo Busan to be held next October. The World Cup returns after a gap of four years, with France winning the previous edition in Russia.

The BTS members were first found in 2010 and officially debuted as a seven-member K-pop idol group in 2013. Now, they continue to grow worldwide as THE ARMY continues to become a global phenomenon.
