“We are approaching the WC and we know that we have to play our best. Everyone knows what she has to do. There will be no room for mistakes, says head coach Thomas Dennerby.

Delighted to have the camp in Spain, Dennerby said: “I am delighted with this long camp in Spain which was much needed for the players. Our six months of preparation continued with our plan which included strength and conditioning training alongside technical and tactical training .

“”We have just one more game before we take to the pitch in India and begin our World Cup campaign against the USA. The girls are ready and motivated to give everything today,” he concluded.

These friendlies have been scheduled as part of the team’s preparation for the upcoming FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, which is scheduled to take place in India from October 11 to October 30.
