While the 22-year-old was holding his press conference, the cat walked across the table to an unknown official sitting next to him. The team official scratched the cat’s head before grabbing it and throwing it off the table, leaving reporters in the audience stunned. Despite the gasps, the official shrugged and quickly asked the next question from the media, while Vincius Jr. laughed it off and the reporters mumbled amongst themselves before moving on with the rest of the press conference.

Vincius Jr. was asked about the influence Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti and Brazil manager Tite had on him as a player after the cat incident.
“I spoke to Ancelotti and he gave me a lot of advice to help me start with Brazil” Vinicius admitted.
He gave me a lot of confidence. He was always hard on me when he needed to be. Ancelotti is like a father to me. “

“He is not only good at the technical aspects of the game, but also with how he handles his players. I have improved a lot and Ancelotti has helped me with that. He and Tite look a lot like each other, and they talk to each other a lot.” he continued at Ancelotti.
The new sensation will play Croatia on Friday as they try to reach the semi-finals of the international tournament in Qatar. After making a rare appearance in the country’s three group stage matches, Vincius Jr managed to score in their 4-1 win over South Korea in the round of 16.
